rachelle-profileMy new life started for me in 2014.  I was about to turn 27 years old.  That year, I had an awakening.

I looked around and my life was simply not what I had always pictured.  It was straight-up mediocre.

From the outside, things were going fine.  I had a decent job that I was good at.  I had a cute house I could afford.  I had friends and family that loved and supported me.  But on the inside, I was underwhelmed.  I knew there was more for me.

I had crippling debt from student loans I never thought I would be free from.  I commonly worked 60 -70 hour work weeks and would go out almost every night to eat and drink away the pain.  I had reached my highest weight (260 pounds) and was starting to see and feel the medical effects.  I had never been in a relationship.  I had some deep rooted hurt I had not dealt with.  I could not run a quarter mile if my life depended on it.  I had no hobbies and no idea what I did for fun.  I had neglected myself, in every way, for years.  When I looked around, my life was not how I always imagined it being.

But, for the first time in my life, I decided to do something about it.

I took a little deeper look at all the places in my life that were begging for attention and I started imagining my perfect scenario.  I looked at my physical goals: simply being able to go hiking with my friends, finally learning how to ride a bike, or feeling the great sensation of crossing the finish line after a race. I imagined what it would feel like to be free from six figures of debt, have a savings for the first time in my life, and how amazing it would feel to share my wealth with others. I imagined what having a relationship with God would feel like if I tuned in every day to spend time in prayer and meditation.

I ended up with what I called my “30 Before 30” list.  It essentially gave me a deadline for all the dreams I had for my life.  It has been the catalyst for so much self-love, growth, and transformation.  It has evolved in ways I have never dreamed possible.

As I have shared my story with people around me, I have realized 2 things:

  1.  It really resonates with people.  Those are my people.
  2.  Sharing this journey and helping people through theirs that that is what I came here to do.  It lights me up.

I am here to remind other souls of what they are capable of.  I am here to point you back to love when you are held back by fear.  I am here to help you heal every false or small thought you have about yourself.  I am here to help you hear the false stories that keep you stuck, and start to re-write them.

My job is to lead, coach, and inspire you to own your power and become the best version of yourself– knowing that it is ok to have obstacles along the way to help us learn.
