Hey there!  Remember me?  Sorry I’ve been gone for a while…I manifested some pretty amazing things in my life and had to step back to deal with all the changes going on in my world.  I didn’t mean to leave you hanging but, you know, life happened and it required some attention.  I promise that I will explain all of that to you in another post, but for now, lets get back to Week 2 of the Manifestation class.  

DISCLAIMER:  The class is now 3 weeks as the information has conveyed in the class has evolved in order to attune to the needs/wants of the students.  That being said, should you decide to take this class, you will still cover everything I briefly mention here, it will just be covered in a different time frame.

Week 2 was all about the laws of attraction and reflection, and our emotions.  Where do I begin?  Okay, so whenever we experience wanting love that is actually the reflection of feeling a lack of love in our lives at that moment.  If we felt loved, we wouldn’t experience the feeling of wanting love because that aspect of our lives would already feel full.  There would be no emptiness or lack of love to fill.  Make sense?  So when we look at our emotions in this manner, we can use this as an indicator to let us know when we’re feeling a lack of something in our lives.  If we are longing for peace, it’s because we’re experiencing chaos.  If we long for passion, we’re feeling a level of depression.  If we wish to feel honor and pride, we’re actually experiencing shame.  You see where I’m going with this.

Once we understand this concept, its important to acknowledge the old adage of “Misery loves company” because it’s very true.  The negative emotion is the dominant point of attraction.  In other words, we reap what we sow…we get back what we put out…yada, yada, yada.  When we look at our emotions in terms of frequency and vibration (Because they are) we begin to understand that like attracts like.  Whatever emotion we put out is what our world mirrors back to us.  Do you ever just wake up on the wrong side of the bed and nothing, absolutely nothing goes right for you for the rest of the day.  It’s because of the law of attraction.  Understanding the power of our thoughts from week 1 gives us the perfect framework within which to understand the concept to which I’m referring right now.

So what do we do about this?  Well, we have to start by looking at our emotions and their relationship with some of the major issues in life.  Ask yourself, how do I feel about money?  What is my relationship with my family, my friends?  What is my relationship with my job?  What is my relationship with God?  Are you frustrated, irritated, joyful, shameful, angry?  Once you answer these questions (and be honest…truly honest) you can begin to shift your point of view and change your focus, thereby allowing your emotional relationship with that aspect of your life to evolve.

We also talked about the importance of imagination and how it allows us to create our world.  I briefly touched on this in my last post when I wrote about our biological response to the topic of having lice.  Our bodies will have a physical response to an imagined thought.  Our bodies do not know the difference between reality and imagination.  Amazing!  Now imagine what you can do when you blow that concept up and apply it to other areas of your life.  Imagine what you can create in your world with the help of imagination.  Imagination is where our dreams begin.  Its where we see ourselves being picked for the team, hearing the applause after we’ve played our heart our on stage,  see the loving look in our future soul mate’s eyes, decorated a future home in our head or imagined excepting an offer for our dream job.  Before anything becomes a reality, it must first exist in our imagination.

So our homework that week was to go home and imagine the thing we want most…the husband, the family, the job, the car, the bank account, whatever it was, we were to go home and imagine what our lives would look like should those dreams be our reality.  What would I wear to work if I had that dream job?  What would I name those future children?  What would that future home look like?  These are just a few examples of how we begin our journey to ‘manifesting’ the life we want.
